Maxine Reyes Featured In #MusicLov3rz May!


Maxine was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but grew up in Manchester with her great-grandmother since age 3. Her great-grandmother died when she was 12 years old. She moved in with her mother and step-father until after her freshman year of high school. She then migrated to Miami, Florida, USA to live with her grandmother and near her father.

She graduated from Miramar High where she was voted most talented at her senior prom by her peers due to her singing talents. By now, she has grown accustomed to moving and decided to join the military to serve the land she now embraces as home, further her education and professional skills and explore the world through military travels! She deployed to Qatar, Afghanistan and Haiti and entertained troops and dignitaries at all of these locations. 

After several years in the military, Maxine transitioned and is now pursuing a career in entertainment. She has sung at NBA, MLB, and even for a president of the USA. You can find her singing, hosting events, sharing her military story on stages across the country and spending her time mentoring the youth, women and couples. Lastly, Maxine’s mantra is that in all things, do so with Love, Courage, Grace and Gratitude.”
