Jillian Baskerville was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois. Grew up in the church and started singing at the age of 4, learned to play the piano at 6 years old. She also learned to play the alto saxophone at a young age as well. Jillian continued playing the piano and in the concert band (the alto saxophone) all the way to her senior year of high school. Jillian sung in the Oak Park River Forest High School Gospel Choir under the leadership of Mr. James Wiggins and Marsha Holmes. In her sophomore year Jillian became the President of Oak Park River Forest Gospel Choir and served until she Graduated. The choir also recorded an album during that time. Just before Jillian graduated Keith Butler asked her to join and record with Keith Butler & The Delegation for Christ Chorale Community Choir.
