Josiah Caleb Harris Born In Plano, TX, January 14, 1990
Josiah “Caleb” Harris is a contemporary Christian artist raised in Dallas, TX in a town most refer to as “Highland Hills”. Growing up without a father in this area was not a easy challenge. Facing violence, gang influence and drugs. Josiah was always the different one out of the bunch. Josiah took a strong liking in music at a young age when he joined the band at 9 years old. He excelled as a trombonist placing top scores in solo ensemble and being seated 2nd chair in all city band. Josiah always had a strong influence in music, not only band but he begin to take a walk on a vocal journey his Freshman year of high school. Each year Josiah begin to develop his skills singing for family, friends and hitting stages all over the world. Josiah graduated at A.Maceo.Smith in 2008 with 2 scholarships to Langston University for band and choir. After a year at Langston, Josiah enrolled at Paul Quinn College where he graduated with a bachelors in Business Management. Also Josiah is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity inc.
Josiah knew he was called to ministry at young age with both father and mother being ministers, he know God had a plan for his life. Josiah has gotten a chance to sing all over the world from places such as Haiti, Virgin Island and different states all over America. Some of Josiah’s artist influences are Mali Music, Canton Jones, and Dettrick Haddon. Josiah currently has a EP out called “FatevsFaith” which includes his awesome single “Spiritual Runners.”
His single has buzzed through radio stations such as, heaven 97, 97.9 Waco, virgin island radio, KRGN, KNON and many more. Josiah not only has a heart for music but for people. With the help of his amazing team he refers to as TeamNoww! His team is able to go out once a month feeding and ministering to homeless families and young people who grew up just like he did.
