Raohnnie
Jackson’s music infuses passionate, soulful vocals and the simplicity
of acoustic guitar along with lyrics which inspire faith and deliver
hope featuring contemporary worship and pop rhythms - creating a unique
style of inspirational music that uplifts and nourishes the soul. His
upcoming EP, A Life Surrendered, featuring the singles “Anchor,” “All of
My Devotion,” and “Nothing I Could Do” is the overflow of his lifelong
pursuit of realizing his greatest joy in the gospel, his true identity
in Gods love, and helping others do the same. Raohnnie grew up listening
to his dad sing with gospel quartets such as the Golden Echoes and the
Christians of Faith. He also enjoyed listening to a variety of artist
such as Boyz II Men, Rascal Flatts and the Canton Spirituals. He
developed as a singer as a member of the male chorus in church and a
gospel trio called the Johnny Singers alongside his dad and twin sister.
During college Raohnnie surrendered his life to Jesus and soon after
discovered CCM and Contemporary worship music which led him to begin
writing songs. He moved to the Nashville area in 2010 along with his
wife and son. They now have 4 beautiful children they are raising
together. Raohnnie enjoys worshipping with fellow believers in a house
church network, serving the underprivileged of Nashville, and
collaborating with other up and coming singer/songwriters.
