Felica Welch was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She embraced the gift of music God placed in her as a young girl singing in the church. She spent many years singing in church choirs as well as singing with her family “The Brackenridge Singers”. In 1980, she was introduced to The Voices for Christ under the leadership of Percy Gray, Jr. In early 1981 she joined and her gift developed.

Felica began her professional singing career as a member of Grayboyz Productions which afforded her to sing with recording artists such as Stellar Award Winners – New Direction, Praise II, The Power Choir and Chapter Ministry Singers all under the leadership of Grayboyz Productions. Felicia remains a loyal member of Grayboyz and has become a mentor to many young and gifted singers.

In 1994, Felica became a member of the Stellar Award-winning Chicago Mass Choir. Since that time, the Chicago Mass Choir has become internationally renowned with many Dove, Stellar, and Grammy Award nominations to their credit.

Felica continues to be a great servant to the Chicago Mass Choir and has blessed millions of people worldwide with her anointed lead vocals on many songs including “Hold on Don’t Give Up”, “I Pray We All Be Ready” and the recently released “My Soul Says Yes”. Felica also received 2 Grammy nominations for director of the year of the Chicago Mass Choir. God has blessed Felica to travel, ministering with the Chicago Mass Choir across the United States as well as abroad to Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

In 1999, Felica became a member of the Shirley Wahls Singers where she continued to share her gift throughout Europe for many years. God has also favored Felica to minister with this group in France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, and Spain.

Through the years, Felica has shared the stage with many gospel greats.
