Mike Simmons Featured In #MusicLov3rz February!

Mike Simmons is a Gospel Artist, musician, music producer, singer and songwriter who loves to write songs that encourages listeners to give God the praise and worship he deserves.  His new single called "Salvation (Halle Halle)" from Mike Simmons reminds us that The Gift of Salvation is free to those that want it, and should be celebrated when accepted.  Born in Brooklyn NY but resides in Waldorf, Maryland, Mike's musical roots stem from his father who was a steel pan player for BWIA and his uncle who was a DJ.  

Growing up in the New York Guyanese culture, Mike had the privilege to learn about different styles of music like Dancehall, Soca, along with R&B, Jazz and Hip-hop.  His Uncle introduced him to a multitude of soulful singers like Sam Cooke, Isaac Hayes and Anita Baker which helped shape his smooth singing and style of music.  

Mike has been a believer for over 18 years.  While walking with the Lord, his love for music became stronger to the point where he taught himself to play the keyboard by ear.  He also began to write songs of praise and worship while learning how to produce his own music.
