Christian Nuckels Returns To #MusicLov3rz June!!!

Modern worship artist, Christian Nuckels has recently teamed up with Gospel Lee and Seeker to release their new single, "Love of a Savior". Christian’s last worship album, "Alive and Free",
dropped in September of 2019 with a great reception from the Contemporary Christian community. But unlike his previous pop rock worship anthems, "Love of a Savior" is a unique blend of worship, rap and soul with lyrics that focus on the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.


“Musically, we wanted to create something that felt new and fresh. Something that stepped outside the lines of the typical CCM worship experience," says Nuckels. As a member of BattleCreek Collective, Christian began writing the song as a Good Friday ballad for his church. However, as plans changed and the song didn’t really fit the direction for the service flow, Christian decided to team up with his friend and long-standing Christian rapper, Gospel Lee to bring the song to life in a new way.
When asked about the co-writing process, Christian stated, “Gospel Lee brought a whole new dimension to the song and wrote some awesome lines for this tune. 'Love of a Savior' is a song all about the cross, which was a really graphic event. These lyrics don’t shy away from the reality of what Christ endured, but it also stays worshipful and has a heart of gratitude about it. I think Gospel and I really compliment each other in our writing styles and it was fun and meaningful to collaborate on this track together.” The team-up was further complimented by the inclusion of indie artist, Seeker, who provided soulful guest vocals and keys for the track.
"Love of a Savior" is currently streaming on all digital music platforms and surpassed 50,000 plays on Spotify in the first four weeks after release. Fans of Nuckels should also be on the lookout for the next single from BattleCreek Collective. The new song "Heartbeat of Heaven" was written by Nuckels as part two for “Love of a Savior” and features Christian on lead vocals. This energetic, resurrection-focused song drops Friday, June 5th and will be sure to get your heart pumping. We are truly excited to see what comes next from Christian, Gospel and BattleCreek Collective later this year.
