David & Tiffany Spencer Featured In #MusicLov3rz April

David and Tiffany’s story began in a High School Choir rehearsal. The boys and girls had separate classes and the only time they rehearsed together was after school. David was impressed with Tiffany’s musical prowess and her smile. They both had a rich love for music and it was that love of music that brought these two together. Initially friends, they spent hours together creating music on David’s karaoke machine. David had the beats and Tiffany had the harmonies.Their sound was birthed and perfected in those moments. They are now happily married with three children, Daveah, David Jr. and Amiyah. Music remains an important aspect of their lives. Tiffany is an music educator in Scotland County. David serves as the Minister of Music at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

David and Tiffany are originally from Lumberton, NC. In 2016 the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew left the area devastated. People had to evacuate their homes. To get to safety, some had to wade through snake and alligator infested waters. Matthew brought record-level floods. Lumberton remained under water for a few days. Homes that took a lifetime to build were destroyed overnight.

Through the ordeal, people never lost sight of God. Families and friends worked together to make sure their community members were alright. Lumberton had become a city of praise, worship, and prayer. That experience is where "Gonna Make It" was birthed. Regardless of how bad it seemed, David & Tiffany knew God had not removed his hand from their hometown. This song serves as a reminder to their city and people everywhere - no matter how hard the storm hits, you can make it and you will get through it!

Jordan Faith Featured In #MusicLov3rz September

We Are The Wave Compilation Album was an idea that I had about two years ago. I had the idea but I didn’t really have the means nor the resources to do it. I was new to networking in CHH and I didn’t have any artists to do the project with. Last year we added a couple new artists and that’s when I realized this project as possible. It’s basically an introduction to New Wave Music Group. Also to encourage the youth to let them know they don’t have to be what society tells them to be. They can forge their own path and do something bigger than themselves. I started New Wave to give the average local artist a voice. It’s a diverse team from all over the World. Tairrans my mentor lives in Nashville but was raised in California. I was born in Nigeria but grew up in Nashville. Loic Beatz was born in Ivory Coast and raised in Paris. Jay-Tee was born in Texas but raised In Lincoln. Beau is a d1 athlete that wrestled for Nebraska. Christ-Style grew up in Louisiana. This project is multi genre so...
