CHANCEY At a very young age, the Lord placed the gift of singing in Chancey. She loved singing alone and never the one to be in the front of a group of people. Family gatherings, weddings, or funerals was the limit she placed on singing opportunities. However, being in a room, music blaring, and singing as if nobody else was present was her comfort zone. As a child, she struggled with being accepted or being good enough for particular positions. She remembers the effects of the amount of time her dad spent working once she hit high school. At the time, her understanding of him being provider was not clear. All she knew was that dad was not at the volleyball games or award ceremonies. This made her feel that he was not interested which was far from the truth. In 2018, God blessed us to release our fourth album titled “Steady Me”. This newest album contains 10 Gospel songs written by us, as well as other local and well-known Christian artists. This CD is our first Nashville based recording project, but we have still chosen to remain independent artists at this time. Our other album releases are "He's My Friend" released in 2005, "First Love" released in 2009, and “Through Your Eyes" released in 2015. You will notice that our songs are written by either us, or close friends of ours. Yes, we do sing a few of the popular songs you hear on the radio, but most of our music is original. Honestly, we sing a lot of what some people would call “story songs.” These songs tell of real life situations and circumstances that we or those around us were going through at the time.
