Gabrielle Solange is a singer, songwriter, and producer born in Columbus, Ohio. Her music is bold and experimental, exploring various styles including Jazz, Pop, R&B, and Electronic music. Formerly signed to a major label, she is excited to break out as an independent artist and start fresh after over a decade of silence. Her first indie music video released on YouTube this past Christmas in a different yet powerful rendition of "O' Holy Night." This month (February) she is collaborating with local artists Bobby Dingess and Geoff Green II on a mission to empower the black community and inspire audiences with the vulnerable musical piece, Dream, following their journey to discovering identity in the midst of racism. For her, this brave move into raw expression has been a long time coming. She began writing at the age of 7, recording her first songs on an old fashioned cassette tape.
