The Keys To The Kingdom:
Kingdom & Artists The 7 keys to the Kingdom are Faith, Hope, Love, Forgiveness, Humility, Prayer and Service.
When Jesus/Yeshua said he would give his Disciples the keys of the Kingdom of heaven. He based it on each of them, coming to the same place of understanding, that Peter reached when he answered 'you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.' Jesus replied, "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjonah, for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father who is in heaven."
In other words, the keys are given to those who fully recognize who Jesus is. Who Jesus is by relationship and revelation. Kingdom, Peter's revelation and Jesus's acknowledgement of it. Jesus is saying "congratulations Peter and welcome to the Kingdom." because Peter had been chosen by God to fulfill a purpose. In verse 18 Jesus said "I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Jesus declares and acknowledges God's selection of Peter, but yet makes the distinction that God's selection of Peter is not what the church is built upon.
The Church and the Gospel is built from Jesus being born in the flesh and His Sacrifice upon the Cross. It's that with His Resurrection from the dead and his ascension to the throne, that makes the keys effective. That is something though chosen by God, Peter could do. It's because of Christ's victory that the gates of hell will not prevail. Jesus defeated Death, Hell and the grave. Peter, like many of us, had a time of denial of not only his own selection by God, but his Faith in God and in Jesus, it was the power behind each key, that brought Peter to a place of repentance and confidence towards God. That's the Rock Jesus/Yeshua built the Church from. Not from the flesh, but His completion, of what it took to Redeem us back to God. Kingdom & Artists in the approaching new year let's commit to using these keys for an effective Music Ministry and Kingdom Building in Yeshua/Jesus's Mighty Name. Sincerely Apostle John E Ross............
