Melissa Wade was born and raised in South Carolina. She is married to Min. Jabari Wade, a they have been blessed with 3 beautiful children Jabari, Jayion, Jelissa Wade and goddaughter Charity George. Being the Pastor's daughter and raised in the Church, Melissa has always enjoyed singing, and this led her to directing youth and adult choirs by the age of 15.
Throughout her life, she has written poems, and this has translated to writing music as well. Her first song written and produced in for a artist was "Without Love" in 2015. She is also the founder of Keep Love Alive, a successful event that represents true love among all humankind. Her latest song written and produced in 2021 is called The Chosen One. Celebrating the life of Jesus Christ.
Melissa works full time at a Financial Institution. In her spare time, she enjoys making custom jewelry with her brand Jewels of Elegance.
After being hospitalized because of sickness with seizures she has a bigger drive to live life to the fullest and with purpose by the Grace of God.

We Are The Wave Compilation Album was an idea that I had about two years ago. I had the idea but I didn’t really have the means nor the resources to do it. I was new to networking in CHH and I didn’t have any artists to do the project with. Last year we added a couple new artists and that’s when I realized this project as possible. It’s basically an introduction to New Wave Music Group. Also to encourage the youth to let them know they don’t have to be what society tells them to be.
