Las Vegas Artist Jaylon Calhoun Set to Premiere “Slip Away”

U.S. Army Veteran, Recording Artist, Music Producer, Jaylon Calhoun, is using his past experiences with the pandemic to light the path for others with the upcoming premiere
of his new single "Slip Away" to bring awareness to mental health and self-care.

Set to premiere on all digital platforms and YouTube on September 27, 2021.

Jaylon continues to evolve his style as an artist to serve up powerful messages by seamlessly merging elements of R&B, Soul, Gospel.

It’s no surprise that Jaylon Calhoun would also serve as a talented artist. He began singing at age 7 while attending the Malcolm X Performing Arts Academy. At age 14, he began singing in his church choir in his hometown of Richmond, CA.

While on the Antioch Church Family choir he helped them to win several notable awards within the Bay Area. The esteemed choir won the “How Sweet The Sound” award for Best Small Choir in the series hosted by famed Gospel great, Donald Lawrence.

Pastor Jaylon eventually took his talents to Nevada where he currently hosts his own Gospel Radio Station called The Anointed Radio Network. He continues to receive newsworthy awards for his work in and throughout the community, and the Kingdom.

We Are The Wave Compilation Album was an idea that I had about two years ago. I had the idea but I didn’t really have the means nor the resources to do it. I was new to networking in CHH and I didn’t have any artists to do the project with. Last year we added a couple new artists and that’s when I realized this project as possible.
