Carolyn Moore Featured In #MusicLov3rz November!

Inspired by and comparable to Helen Baylor, and widely known Vicke Yohe,  Carolyn Moore is a singer/songwriter who began her music career at the age of 9 years old in the COGC.  Her contemporary urban and gospel sound with a R&B flavored voice gives her newest album, Shadows of the Almighty, a new garment of praise, which repels and replaces the spirit of heaviness to all those who listen to her sing.  Carolyn has shared the stage with well known actor Jamie Foxx during a talent competition and performed locally in Nashville and other cities as well.  One of her songs (I Refuse to Be Defeated) made it to the top 20 in Babbie Mason's Music Conference of 2001.

With outstanding lyrical integrity and compelling artistic expression, Carolyn's powerful voice creates an atmosphere of praise for the Glory of God to set His people free.  When distressed be dressed with a garment of praise.  The Hebrew root for garment (atam) shows praise as more than a piece of clothing thrown over our shoulders.  Praise not only clothes our body in peace, joy, love and freedom; it pierces our spirit with the love of the Father and goes to the very throne room of God.
 
I would like to thank my Brother, Minister McGill Smith, for his anointed lead guitar sounds that adds a special sound to my music that would otherwise be missing.  I also want to thank my Producer, Mike Turner, for his gifted ear for music arrangement - he is the best!!!  Many, many thanks to Tate Music Group for believing in me and seeing the vision from God for my music.  Most of all I thank you my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for my gift of music and voice.  To you be all the praise and glory!!!
