Corell Featured In #MusicLov3rz September!

Corell, an inspirational songstress, was born in the beautiful city of Pensacola. Growing up, she lived a humble lifestyle, as her parents worked their hardest to give their best. She is the only sister of six brothers, and she always had a hard time having her voice heard.

Corell suffered through many traumatic events and loss in her life from: sexual abuse, losing her first friend (grandmother), her family home burned down, she experienced homelessness, and she almost lost her own life. She never allowed the hand that she was dealt to break her down, she needed a way out and she found one when she joined the Navy at the age of 19; and after 5 years, 8 months and 13 days of dedicated service, Corell became a Veteran.

Not only is Corell a child of God, she is a wife, a mother of 5 beautiful babies, a singer/songwriter, a model, and a role-model to young girls and boys that feel that there is no hope. She is a role-model to women that have suffered abuse and feel that there is no way out, she is proof that there is life beyond your circumstances. She is being used as God’s vessel to deliver messages that everyday people live through.

Life is full of ups and downs, and Corell is no stranger to life’s obstacles. She plans to reach as many people as she possibly can, meeting people where they are, by writing her songs out of the pain that she lived through - out of the beautiful moments and the difficult moments. She tried to deny her gift for years due to the shame that she felt, but after years of trying, she finally found her voice!
