She wrote her first song at age 10. She has currently released her first single DEAR FATHER on March 2021, which is available to stream every where. God gave this song to her in 2011 during a very difficult time in her life, letting her know He will see her through it. Also not to give up on life. It’s more than just a song, it’s her testimony! Jennie put off releasing this single for years, due to vocal cord damage on her left side. She currently only has the use of her right vocal cord. DO IT AFRAID, God said! Therefore, she started to put in the work. Don’t allow fear to stop you! She is currently working on an Album called PLEASE SPEAK, which should be available by the end of June 2021.
Jennie Lee is also an author of the book YOU KNOW MY NAME, BUT NOT MY STORY. I wasn’t arrested, I was rescued! (published on October 20, 2020) and available on Amazon.com. This book is her testimony on how God can meet you anywhere you are, under any circumstance. It talks about her experience in jail, a place she thought she would never be! The song DEAR FATHER is in connection to the book.
This book explains that even though you can love the Lord, we sometimes fall short and get weak. Romans 3:23 reads “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. We can choose the sin, but not the consequences. We often become too busy in doing the work of God that we forget God Himself! The book will teach you that God ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts! That He can use anyone He wants. God will use any place to open our eyes, to see who we really are.
