Felecia Sheard-Parks Returns To #MusicLov3rz January!

Felecia Sheard Parks has paved her way through the gospel music industry relying on her faith and a vision from God. During her journey, she was ordained as a minister in 2009 by her father, Elder Robert Franklin Sheard Sr. She went on to serve as the Chaplain of a rehabilitation hospital where she also worked as a nursing supervisor. Her strong desire to help those in need is evident in her career choices. She has dedicated her life to nursing for nearly three decades and continues to serve others in that capacity.

Following an injury she received during a dental procedure, she took time to reevaluate her purpose in life. She spent more time in the presence of God and realized it was time to go into the studio and record. She frequently shares this candid testimony and other obstacles that she has overcome throughout her life in magazines, churches, television and radio interviews.

Felecia is a pianist who wrote her own lyrics in her first CD entitled You Gave Me A New Name. She was joined in this project by two of her children, KP (Kelsey Parks) and CP (Chris Parks) as feature artists. This collaboration went on to earn her the recognition of Showtime Entertainment’s national award of Best Female Solo Artist in 2019. She also received the GCMA (Gospel Choice Music Award) for Female Artist/Vocalist of the Year in 2020. As her songs began to travel throughout the nations, she received an opportunity to sign on with The Orchard (Division of Sony Records).
