Walt-Leon Returns To #MusicLov3rz December!!

Walter Leon Davis Jr. aka WALT-LEON is an independent Christian Hip-Hop artist/Poet out of Hampton, Va. He is one of the most lyrical, yet entertaining artist who has a special ability to move the crowd. Although he entertains, he includes a positive message and uplifting words of encouragement in every song.

WALT-LEON wasn’t always a Christian Hip-Hop artist and didn’t always go by WALT-LEON. When he first started writing poetry and rapping he went by the name Fresh-D. As Fresh-D he released five mixtapes and one album. He’s performed across the United States. He’s been the opening act for artist such as Cassidy, BoneThugz-N-Harmony, and Twista. Throughout the time in life where he went by Fresh-D, he declined a couple of major record deals because he wanted to be able to have control over what he presents to the world.

In 2010 He changed his name from Fresh-D to WALT-LEON and started a new musical journey.

The message in the music changed and the impact that it had on the world started to change. He then realized the reason he ran from church and started to do his own thing is because the preachers couldn’t relate the sermon to his life. At that moment he decided to become a Christian Hip-Hop artist and use his gift to bring the youth closer to Christ, that way they wont go through what he went through and if they do they won’t feel like they are going through it alone.

Once the total change was made WALT-LEON has rebuilt his resume and has performed in front of thousands across the U.S. Although he has performed for people such as Bobby Jones from the Bobby Jones Gospel show, Luther Barnes, Dorothy Norwood, Ricky Dillard, Jekalyn Carr and many others, he still makes a point to go to detention centers and share his gift and time with the youth. He is very active in the community and his purpose is to touch lives positively.

WALT-LEON is a graduate of Ohio University class of 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He started off at Virginia Union University playing football for two years, than he transferred to Ohio University where he played basketball and baseball for 3 years. On top of his music WALT-LEON is also the CEO of TouchLife Productions where the motto is “See A Life, Touch A Life, Change A Life.”
