The Agape Music Group Featured In #MusicLov3rz March!

The Agape Music Group was formally formed in January 2020, but has been in the process since June 2018. The group was created with one goal: To love God and to love people through music and other art forms. Even though this group was initiated by a husband and wife worship leader duo, we thrive on collaboration with other like hearted believers to make art that illuminates the vastness of God’s infinite creativity. Musicians, singer/songwriters, clothing designers, tech and sound professionals make up the entirety of the group, all playing a role in creating a sound that glorifies God. Whether it’s a track with 808’s or an organ, gorgeous string lines or edgy synths, it is all ultimately to make Him smile and to touch the heart of His people. 

The Agape Music Group’s debut single, “The Wait”, is ultimately a worship song about resolving to trust in God’s ways and His perfect timing. Moving when HE says move and waiting when he says to wait. The verses greet the listener with very real emotions and thoughts that may come during the period of waiting for the next step, for dreams to be realized or for prayers to be answered. Then, the pre-chorus reminds us that God is exactly who He says He is and that His heart is ALWAYS for us. The chorus is the resolve to wait with BIG faith. Our prayer is that this song encourages every listener to stand firm on God’s word over his/her life, and to remember that the instruction to wait is an opportunity for preparation and strengthening. “The Wait” is a beautiful part of the process of us being formed into the likeness of Christ.

We Are The Wave Compilation Album was an idea that I had about two years ago. I had the idea but I didn’t really have the means nor the resources to do it. I was new to networking in CHH and I didn’t have any artists to do the project with. Last year we added a couple new artists and that’s when I realized this project as possible. It’s basically an introduction to New Wave Music Group. Also to encourage the youth to let them know they don’t have to be what society tells them to be.
