Courtney Bryan & AWAKEN Featured In #MusicLov3rz November!

Courtney remembers having an experience in the ninth grade with the Holy Spirit that changed her life forever. She felt His presence for the first time and instantly fell in love. During that time, God gave her the desire to start playing the piano, songwriting, and leading worship. She answered the call and started a worship band at her father's church and wrote her first song "Your Presence." She has gone on to lead multiple worship teams. Courtney is an anointed songwriter, a passionate worship leader, and an inspiring woman of God.

Courtney's music sets the atmosphere for healing and the release of spiritual gifts. Her desire is to not only usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit through her music but also create an environment where one can clearly hear from God and AWAKEN. God gave Courtney the name AWAKEN to remind herself and other Christians to wake up. It's a reminder to surrender, be peculiar, live holy, and remain set-apart. The goal of Courtney's music is to create an atmosphere of healing and cause dry bones to AWAKEN.

Her songs "Heart's Desire" and “Your Love” are love songs to God that formed during a time when she was not feeling confident in her calling. It is a reminder that God will equip His children when we decide to obey and put our full trust in Him.

Courtney's band consists of musicians and singers who have a passion for God and worship. They love using their gifts to encourage, uplift, and minister to those who believe and do not believe in Christ. The musicians are a group of longstanding friends and family who joined together to create melody to accompany the lyrical expressions of Courtney Bryan Music.

Courtney is married to Bobby Bryan, the keyboardist in the group, and they have one son named LB. She enjoys working part-time as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and spending time with family.
