Shola Victor-Sajowa Featured In #MusicLov3rz Magazine

From the cute little 3 year old girl, who would stand on the dance floor, with her eyes closed , wiggling her little waist (as her mum remembers) - making people smile to the worship leader , singer song writer who has led many over the years into the presence of her ‘story changer’ as she loves to call HIM. Shola's musical story continues...

She was a member of her primary school’s choir, a member of a traditional dance group during her secondary school days, did some acting and even tried a little of comedy but that’s a story for another day. After becoming born again in Nigeria in 1987, she relocated to the UK in 1988 and soon joined the choir under Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo’s ministry. Her singing ,worship leading and song writing ability soon became apparent as she went on to write some of the songs on KICC choir’s earlier recordings i.e ‘Sons of the great King‘, ‘We give you praise’ and ‘You're my everything’ .

She regularly leads worship at KICC and at KICC’s events which includes Wam night, Winning women's events and the yearly international conference - IGOC. Shola has since been invited to hold workshops and seminars to train worship leaders, choir members etc in the specifics of praise and worship and has written a manual.titled The Art of true worship. to that effect.

Her unique ministry has taken her to minister on various platforms in and around the UK and internationally in countries like , Ireland, Geneva, Sweden etc. Her passion for worship emanates from a heart that is full of thanksgiving to the One who has redeemed her from a somewhat messy life, cleansing her and enabling her to serve Him and His people. Her aim is always to give Him the best worship experience . In her own words she says” I love to touch His heart, I love to make Him smile. I love to make Him dance. I love to see people free in God’s presence, boldly entering into the holy of holies to have a behind the veil experience with the loving Father who grants us access by the blood of the lamb.
